Colin has over 30 winters of experience working as an avalanche forecaster, ski patroller, ski guide, educator, and avalanche consultant. His experience spans the industry, from mining, highways, and railways to ski areas and ski guiding operations. He has expertise in all types of avalanche mitigation and risk management measures and strategies. A long-time avalanche educator, Colin is an American Avalanche Association-qualified Professional 1 and 2 instructor. He has extensive experience working internationally in Chile, Argentina, and Asia and is fluent in Spanish.
